GENERAL INFORMATION Pocketful Of Scoundrel is a co-operative literary journal in which each of the contributing authors pays for exactly the amount of space their work occupies in each edition of the print run.  The journal itself is 8x10", 156 pages (trade paperback), full colour glossy cover, black and white interior.  The print run of each edition is 200 copies, which will be distributed to the public free of charge through select independent booksellers.  In addition to the 200 distributed copies, each contributor will receive a complimentary copy of the edition in which their work appears and a PDF of each edition will be available as a free download on the Brown Paper Publishing website. Each edition will feature the work of twenty authors.  Each author is given 5000 words (this can be used for single stories, multiple stories, excerpts from novels, essays, interviews, etc.)* as well as space for a brief biographical statement and contact information.  The fee per author is $39 which covers everything described above (this is a one time fee and there is no charge to any author until final proof approval).** The inaugural issue of Pocketful Of Scoundrel will be released June 15th.
